Semi-finished products made of Virgin PTFE and Modified PTFE
Properties of Virgin PTFE:
- Temperature resistance from -269°С to +250°С.
- Chemical resistance. It is stable in most aggressive and corrosive media.
- PTFE is resistant to UV radiation.
- Very good sliding, anti-adhesive and dielectric properties.
- PTFE is physiologically harmless
Modified PTFE has the following additional qualities:
- Lower tendency to cold flow.
- Reduced porosity
- Improved creep resistance
The semi-finished products are used in the production of friction units, antifrictional elements, seals, gaskets, chemically-resistant elements applied in various branches of industry including the food-processing industry and medicine (as the details of manufacturing equipment: gaskets, bushes etc.)
